Ann's Site

Landowner Ann Hoff found this site several years ago while out prospecting for fossils with a friend. She spotted several duckbill dorsal vertebrae eroding from the hill and dug into the hill to discover several articulated dorsal vertebrae. Ann and MRF crews, led by Tyler Lyson and Stephen Begin, continued the excavation of this locality and discovered a mostly articulated vertebral column as well as several other postcranial remains. Several large field jackets were made and collected. A protective jacket was placed over the remaining portion of the skeleton and will be collected in 2009. This was an very enjoyable site to dig because of the well preserved bones and the great company from the land owner, Ann.
